Ronan brings a wealth of experience to the Director of Physiotherapy role in Personal Health. He has worked with a broad spectrum of patients in private practice from Olympic and professional athletes to weekend gardeners. Ronan was head of Physiotherapy for UCD RFC from 2011-2016. He also managed physiotherapy services to the Elite Athlete Academy (EAA) in UCD.
Ronan is currently in the final stages of completing a Master’s degree in Trauma & Orthopaedics from the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. This post graduate education provides insight into best orthopaedic management for his patients. He works with some of Ireland’s most respected consultants to facilitate learning across his discipline.
Similarly he has collaborated with a network of UK based consultants in relation to optimum management of shoulder dislocation in athletes.
Ronan has special interest in the area of tendon injuries.
